5 Day Tanzania Classic safari

Upon arrival at the Airport, our representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel for dinner and an overnight. Our representative will give a short briefing about your safari while at the hotel. If early you may opt to add either of the following extra activities: Lake Duluti canoeing, coffee tour, village visit, city tour or any other activity. (extra charges applies).

After breakfast you will start your safari heading to Serengeti national park. Serengeti comes from the Maasai word “serengit” which means the land of endless plains. A well-known place for wildlife sanctuary in the world. A home for millions of mammals including the so called Big Five, elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and black rhinos. For bird lovers over 500 bird species have been recorded here including vultures, owls, cranes and secretary birds. Evening leisure, dinner and overnight will be at your accommodation.

You will have a full day game drive in the endless Serengeti plains. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with unlimited game viewing. Plain games such as elephants, zebra, wildebeest, lions, leopard and cheetah can be seen. Central part is one of the popular areas in the entire reserve known as “the big cat capital of Africa”. Serengeti is rich in lion, leopard and cheetah which can be spotted in one day game drives. Spend your time in Seronera area, the heart of Serengeti and the richest wildlife habitats in the park. Seronera River is a source of water to this area which also attracts wildlife. After a truly unique wildlife experience, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will have a final game drive in the endless Serengeti plains, and head to Seronera area. Leopards are commonly seen on the branches of the sausage trees that line in the Seronera river. For birdwatchers birds like herons, egrets, grey crowned cranes, turacos, kingfishers and many other birds can be found here. Then later you will drive to Ngorongoro conservation area (Crater), arriving there you will have a first foretaste of what awaits for you on the following day.

After morning breakfast you will descend in to the famous Ngorongoro crater for game viewing. The crater has a unique ecosystem which inhabits more than 25,000 resident animals. Almost every East African Savannah animal species can be spotted in the grass grasslands and acacia forests including the “Big Five” (rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard). Later you will ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha. You will then be transferred to the Airport for your departure. This will mark the end of your 5 days with Perfect Wild Trips
